BMI for Men — Healthy Ranges and Calculator
Body Mass Index (BMI) for men uses the same formula as women: BMI = weight (kg) ÷ height (m)². For men, healthy BMI is typically 18.5–24.9. Athletes with high muscle mass may show elevated BMI despite low body fat.
Examples
Man: 75 kg, 175 cm
BMI = 75 ÷ (1.75)² → BMI = 24.5 (normal range)
Man: 90 kg, 180 cm
BMI = 90 ÷ (1.80)² → BMI = 27.8 (overweight)
