BMI for Women — Healthy Ranges and Calculator
BMI for women uses weight (kg) divided by height (m) squared. Healthy range is 18.5–24.9 for adult women. BMI is not recommended during pregnancy — use gestational weight guidelines instead.
Examples
Woman: 60 kg, 165 cm
BMI = 60 ÷ (1.65)² → BMI = 22.0 (normal)
Woman: 70 kg, 160 cm
BMI = 70 ÷ (1.60)² → BMI = 27.3 (overweight)
